Have you read Alice’s adventures in Wonderland? Then you must remember this line — Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as SIX IMPOSSIBLE THINGS before breakfast. Although I never expressed it so I’m someone who thinks there’s a teeny tiny possibility for every fantasy. Maybe in a different world, or in another universe, or in a parallel world. You think pigs can’t fly? Why, yes, maybe not on Earth. But probably someplace we haven’t seen or heard, it might be a possibility.
Everything we think is a fantasy might have existed in the past or might come to exist in the future. We never know. Giants, mermaids, Phoenixes, and whatnot. So it doesn’t hurt to have an open attitude. Anyway, all jibber-jabber aside, isn’t it a nice feeling to live in a world where so many miracles are possible?
Guess what, you’re already living in one!
Anyhow, today, I wanna let you sneak a peek into my journal. Shall we see what impossible things I believed before breakfast today?
The first one, um…
Pens have personalities.
I’m a writer and I’d love to believe that what accompanies me in all my wordy adventures has a personality. I even named my pen, literally, Sarvani. Now that I think about it closely, it is more like wands in Harry Potter. Still, I’d love that.
Nature can hear us.
A big-time nature lover like me believes that nature can hear us. It can influence our mood, beliefs, and personality. This is undebatable.
Good deeds equal a good life.
Now I know there’s a word going around that good people suffer but I believe it’s not true. Like how a seed takes its time to become a strong-rooted tree, your good deeds take time to come back to you tenfold. By then, bad deeds grow into useless wild grass and you worry thinking that is a crop (And you start to think bad deeds pay off well). But that is the reality. It is just an illusion. There is a world of difference.
The pigeons that peek into my room know me
Animals can talk — This is one of the impossible things Alice found in Wonderland. But I don’t have to go to Wonderland to believe a thing like that. Animals do talk, but maybe in their own way. How can we say ours is the only way to communicate?
And maybe the pigeons that land on our balcony do recognize me. They come every day and play on the other side of our mesh door giving me plenty of good time. You should follow me on Instagram for updates about my pigeon pals. 😀
Three worlds within a world.
On Earth, we have three worlds. Sea World, Animal World, and ours, Human World. Each with its own rules, systems, and ways of living. Of course, the balance is ruined but we do have three worlds on Earth. And sometimes I wonder if animals entertain themselves by human watching like how we do bird watching. Hmm!
Every day comes with a miracle.
Although we say this many times we don’t genuinely believe that because we do not have definite evidence to prove it. We believe LOVE is true though we can’t touch it. We believe it because we felt it first. In the same way, feel you and this day are miracles and it becomes the truth.
