Vasu Healthcare: Aloe vera gel + Kumkumadi Tailam (Review)

Any day, I’d choose skincare over cosmetics. Especially my love for facial oils is never-changing. And also, I’d choose chemical-free over those with parabens and all. Anyway, today I’m going to review two skincare products from Vasu Healthcare and these are a blend of both my preferences. Chemical-free and skincare.

The two products are Aloe vera gel and Kumkumadi Tailam. I’m slightly more excited to try Kumkumadi Tailam because of my love for facial serums.

Let’s see.

The first thing that strikes me as an advantage with this brand is the span this brand has been serving. It’s been here for 40 years now and it is still doing an amazing job. There is something very assuring with brands with decades of experience, right?!

If you ask me what is the USP (unique selling point) of Vasu healthcare then I would say it’s experience. Since 1980. Under Vasu healthcare, there are many brands, Vasu naturals, Trichup, etc…

And coming to the products, let’s go with the facial serum first because I’m excited about it.

Vasu Healthcare Kumkumadi Tailam

This one comes in very simple packaging. It doesn’t contain any mineral oil, silicones, dyes, artificial fragrance.

Best way to use:

Wash your face and pat dry. It removes the impurities and sweat settled on your skin. Then take 2 to 3 drops of the age revitalizing facial oil and gently massage with your fingers. It helps absorb the oil into your skin.

This is priced as 550 INR. Quite affordable, I say.

Usually, the best time to apply facial serums is at night. That’s how I usually do. I first thing I noticed is the aroma. It’s different from any of the serums I used. And after the application, I felt this oil is indeed suitable for all skin types.

I’ve reviewed many products on this channel but I’ve not found a serum that is genuinely compatible with oily skins until this one. I applied 3 drops and I can hardly tell I put on some oil on my face. It’s moisturizing and a bit shiny but definitely not oily. So then I guess it is also perfect to apply in the day.

Aloe vera gel

Again, just a simple bottle. 120 ml. Priced 149 INR. At first, I thought it’s just a moisturizer but NO. It can be applied to the skin and your hair. This has multiple uses like:

  • Hydrates skin
  • Nourishes hair
  • Moisturizes chapped hands and cracked feet.
  • Moisturizes lips.
  • Protects hair from pollution.

How versatile!

Now I’m more psyched than the facial serum. LOL. This is 100% vegetarian, dermatologically tested for safety, non-irritant, and completely free of parabens and chemicals. Vasu Aloe Vera Gel is formulated using a unique patented process, contains superior-quality, 98.3% natural aloe vera. 98.3%? Wow, again.

And zero percent parabens, Glycerin, dyes, Formaldehyde, and fragrance.

I used it on my skin before I knew how multi-tasking it is, and it felt fresh. More importantly, it did not feel greasy at all. And I also liked how it makes my hair feel good. It’s softening and refreshing. It has a very mild aroma, almost negligible.

Overall, it’s quite good.

Would I recommend this?

Yes, definitely. Maybe even more than the facial oil. Because it is very affordable and it has multi-purposes. So, I think it deserves a chance.

Voila!

I hope you liked my two recent discoveries. Which one do you prefer? Comment down. You can slide over into my Insta page for more info about these products.

I’ll see you soon again. Chao!

Lots of LOVE,

Nikki.
