My Morning Pages: What Does The Sky Wish For You?

Have you ever gazed intently at “The Sky“?

I did.

Does it say anything to you?

It does to me.

It says: Look at me. Look at me closely.

I will remind you of the vastness of this universe.

Of the endless opportunities, the heavens have to offer you.

Of the things that are beyond your level of apprehension, for which you only need to take a leap of faith.

When I look down, I don’t see a big difference between the bird that flies in the air and you, that walk on the ground.

You both are puny yet precious to me.

And so are your problems, insignificant.

Maybe they are not so trifling to you, but nevertheless, that is the truth.

I wish to tell you the problems that engulf you now will have to be cleared away sooner or later, just like the dark clouds that envelop me transiently.

I never mind it cause I know soon they will have to pass.

It’s nothing because I have my blessings even when I wasn’t seen.

My blessings are my jewels; The sun, the moon, and the gazillion stars.

Every day they light me up.

The sun isn’t seen at night, that doesn’t mean it’s not there.

The moon and the stars aren’t seen in the day, and that doesn’t mean they are not there either.

They are just briefly gone to come back tomorrow.

Just like your good times; they may be gone for a while but they will come back.

I can assure you that.

Every day, I see a lot of lives unfold in front of me.

One was contented despite treading on an unfortunate fate, while one was melancholic even after being blessed with everything.

I wish you would look at me, listen to me, and be happy.

I’ve lived way more than you and I’ve seen way many of you.

But almost every one of you makes the same mistake.

You know what’s important in life yet you always chase after the material things that have little to do with your happiness.

Life has a funny way of teaching; But if you could just try to believe in things that are invisible, like having faith, the spirit of life, love, happiness, honesty, etc, you could see a world of happiness open in front of you.

You see, every invisible thing may not be treasure but “a truly valuable thing is always invisible.” You see the trick here.

And you must dig deep within to find it.

So cheer up.

I’ll always be rooting for you.

So try your best and remember you are never alone.

That’s my wish for you.

Until next time,

Lots of LOVE,

Nikki.
