5 Modest Face Wash Brands I’d use again (2021)

Do you have a skin-friendly good habit? If not, consider it. We eat junk food dripping oil, make errands sweating, roam in smoke and dust emitted from vehicles, go to bed sans removing makeup, and god knows what else. Our skin goes through so much for us. So it’s our responsibility to care a bit for it. I’m definitely not saying you have to pick up some extravagant beauty product that burns a hole in your pocket. There are many modest buys that do their job well without making us cringe looking at the price tag. To start with, keep a good face wash in your bag at all times. When you’re on the run, it’s handy to have a good face wash in reach.

You could spare five minutes in your jam-packed schedule and stop by a washroom to freshen up. Pick out the face wash you’ve so thoughtfully chucked into your bag while stepping out of your home and give yourself a good splash. It seems trivial, right, nevertheless it’s a great start.

Let me share 5 of the best yet modest face wash brands I’ve used in the past and currently and which I wouldn’t mind using again and again.

5 Modest Face Wash Brands

1. St. Botanica

Vitamin C brightening face wash from St.Botanica. This is an Indian brand with many good products. I’ve used multiple products from St.Botanica yet this face wash is the one I’d like to buy over and again. Their other products are also alright but this face wash is something I’ll be missing when it’s finished.

The price of the product is 299 INR. It comes with a built-in brush, so it’s even better to use on the go.

2. Mother Sparsh

I’ve recently got my hands on this brand and I’m thoroughly enjoying their products. I talked about one of their products, 99% pure water and fragrance-free baby wipes, previously.

Later I even tried their face wash which is again quite impressive. I’ve been using it in recent days and it is extremely gentle on the skin. It contains no harsh chemicals, it’s a plant-based face wash.

It foams subtle giving off a sweet vanilla aroma. Those that foam too much makes skin dry, as if it drains the skin of its moisture. But those that don’t lather at all will come off as not effective enough. And this face wash from Mother Sparsh foams just about enough.

The skin feels extremely moisturized afterward so I highly recommend this one for dry skins, especially in winters. This will keep your skin nourished as it contains several organic oils and earth marine water.

And this is also an Indian brand. The cost of this is 262 INR. It comes in simple packaging without any needless show.

3. BioBloom

Natural cleansing milk from Biobloom. I’ve been using this for a long time now and it’s a favorite. The skin feels so refreshing afterward and again, it doesn’t contain any chemicals that can harm our skin. It feels as soft and smooth as milk on the skin.

The best thing I love about this one is that some products that claim to lock skin’s moisture may cross the line and turn greasy. But this is perfect. Not too greasy, not too dry. The perfect level of freshness.

Biobloom is also an Indian brand with an impressive range of chemical-free products. The price of this face wash is 440 INR. This is the highest of all the products I mentioned but considering how much I enjoyed it, I definitely recommend it.

4. Seer Secrets

Pore-refining multi cleanserPriced at 309 INR on their official website, this face wash is also one of my go-to’s. Like every other product I listed here, this is also very gentle on the skin.

Seer secrets is also an Indian origin brand that has a wonderful beauty range of products. They are 100% natural and cruelty-free. As it claims, this is really great for dry and sensitive skins. Doesn’t lather much, a good thing, of course. It perfectly protects the moisture of your skin and adds an extra layer of hydration as well.

Recommended for winters as it is non-drying.

5. Nivea

Nivea has become a household product. Almost every home in India has a Nivea moisturizer and it sure is good. But have you tried their face wash?

Nivea milk delights face wash. It sure is amazing. And it is priced at 165 INR on Amazon.

I, for one, don’t believe in going after expensive products when we have many modest yet efficient brands like these. What do you think?

That’s all for now. I like these brands because they are economical and effective. What else can we ask for from a brand? I hope this will encourage you to take better care of your skin. Because tending to your skin is nothing but tending to yourself. And that is something not to be left uncared for.

Let me know in the comments which of these modest face wash brands interest you. Would you like any one of these a chance to serve you?

I’ll see you again soon.

Lots of LOVE,

Nikki.
