100% Effective Blogging Strategies For A Successful Blog

Before starting a blog, many people think blogging is just scribbling something and publishing it. But NO, it’s much, much more than that. I knew people think that way because I’ve seen so and thought so myself. If you are also thinking the same way, then wake up. You are gonna have to work ten times harder than you think, only if you want to build a successful blog. No pressure. Once you make up your mind, then let’s get to the real talking. I have 10 effective blogging strategies that work 100%. Even for a brand new blog.

I’m not gonna say vague things like just work hard, content is king, and all. I’m going to give you crisp and clear strategies. And I assure you that if you follow the 10 things I’m about to tell you your blog will be a success faster than you think. So let’s see…

Effective Blogging Strategies

1. Work on your Insta Game from Day 1

I don’t know if you are a fashion blogger or a tech blogger, Instagram is gonna help you a lot. It is a trending social media platform and it sure is gonna be there for a while. So before it’s too late, start working on your Instagram. I did not know this when I started blogging, that is why this is my number one strategy for you.

Nowadays, every brand is looking at your Instagram profile before they decide on whether to collaborate with you or not. If you have a good amount of followers then it is a big advantage for you. The brands are more interested in working with people who can give them good results. That’s a given.

2. Interact with other Bloggers in the community

It’s good to have somebody to guide you until you know what you are doing.  There are many bloggers out there who are ever ready to help you out. I had help and I had offered help. You can learn from them. And blogger interactions also help you in getting the word out about your blog. They will also comment on your blog and share your content. That can give your blog a boost in the beginning days and also always.

One of the easiest ways is to join Facebook groups. There you can find hundreds and thousands of bloggers. Facebook groups are so helpful this way. And you can also join relevant Pinterest boards and see if you can meet some interesting people there.

3. SEO

This is super important. You have a brand new blog with zero subscribers and SEO is helpful then. Until you can get a good number of subscribers, you can work on your blog metrics. Domain authority (DA) and Page authority (PA). The higher your DA is the more brands will be interested in working with you.

So, do your basic SEO for each and every blog post. Also, if you are a WordPress blogger install Yoast plugin. It will give you a brief idea of what you are doing and what you should be doing.

4. Work on your content

You already know content is the king but it shouldn’t be a shabby king. As much as you have valuable content, it is also important to make it attractive and impressive. How? Find a good font, add an impressive blog banner, add GIFs, stock images, Infographics, and many more.

And more importantly, clear out any grammatical errors in the post. One or two is fine but if there are too many errors to read the reader will go back.

5. Social media promotions

Since it’s a new blog, your blog wouldn’t have much organic traffic. So, here comes social media. Create pages on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and every other social media platform and share your content.

What if you have followers even there? As I said before, join several groups and try to share your content there often. and genuinely interact with other group members (even non-bloggers). People will check out your content when they know you personally. Just make sure you are not spamming the group.

6. Show your face to your audience

You might say I’m a tech blogger, why do I have to show my face? I can just stay behind the screen. But that’s where you are mistaken. If you want people to receive your content more introduce yourself to them. When you see someone’s face, you create a connection with them. So obviously they will be interested in what you are writing.

I did the same mistake as you when I started and just stayed behind the screen. But when I came online I saw so much difference. I improved my Instagram follower count, my blogs are better received, and they even say why they like me and my blog. This is what I observed.

7. Blog Topic

People say to have extremely specific one dedicated topic is great but I beg to differ. As a new blogger, you have the advantage of experimenting with various kinds of topics. You wouldn’t be disappointing anyone. So try to have more than one topic on your blog. It’s fun, attracts a wider audience, more scope for content, and more brand deals.

This is much effective than having just one blog niche. Think about it.

8. The art of attracting Brands

Only a tiny part of the world knows about your blog, then how do you land brand deals? Simple, just give them a shout out on your social media and tag them. Even if the big brands don’t care, the other small brands following them will come to know about you and reach out for a collaboration.

To tag brands, you must make the post extremely attractive.

  1. Use your best photo
  2. Tag them with an impressive note
  3. Instagram works better for this.
  4. And repeat.

9. Youtube

Use Youtube to the best of your ability. People love watching videos than reading blogs. If you can steer your Youtube channel properly then you hit a jackpot. It will get you tons of traffic to your blog and also, you will be monetizing your Youtube channel as well. So, it’s a win-win. I’m still trying to get a hold of my Youtube channel, so I’m afraid I can’t give you more definite answers but it truly is effective.

10. Consistency & Patience

This is one is an old but the golden rule of blogging. Post regularly on your blog, maybe twice or thrice a week. Some say posting once a day is also very beneficial. But I’d say unless your blog/website is related to news or any magazine, posting every day may come off as spam. So, twice or thrice a week should be fine, and anything more than that is up to you.

And another biggest essential for a blogger is patience. You must have a lot of patience. Your blog might not succeed in just a few months, you have to keep working on it without giving up and one day, all your hard work will be paid off. I promise you.

So, that’s all for now. I hope you found my experiences helpful. Use these effective blogging strategies and you won’t have to look back again. Good luck! I’ll see you soon again.

Until we meet again,

Lots of LOVE,

Nikki.
